We have designed several operating models. All of the models work off SAFETY FIRST! That is because the torque generated by the drill must be controlled to ensure 100% safe use. The three primary models are: 1) base model: right out of the box using the TED straps supplied to control the torque, 2) Fleet Installed model: an easy and inexpensive to install I-Beam Plate installed on each trailer with corresponding Drill Plate on the drill, 3) Stand Alone model: a specialized Drill Plate attached to the XLT Drill eliminates any installation of equipment on the trailer.
Below are some examples of the above models with estimated costs. Costs were based on $520 per drill kit and drill plate, $530 per drill kit and stand alone drill plate, $460 per drill kit, $80 per trailer plate and $5 per latch pin. Fleet size and implementation period can potentially reduce the costs indicated above.
