Assuming you will fleet install the XLT System, which is most common in the food service industry, you have multiple ways to implement use of the XLT Drill System.  Below are some of the more frequent designs with estimated costs.  Costs were based on $500 per drill kit and drill plate and $70 per trailer plate. Fleet size and implementation period can potentially reduce the costs indicated above.

  • All drivers,  including full trailer drivers, utilize the system with their own personal XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per driver , 2) TED I-Beam Plate per trailer (both pups and full trailers). Cost calculator: Nbr Drivers times $500 + Nbr Trailers times $70. 
  • All tractors utilize the system with “tractor owned” XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per tractor , 2) TED I-Beam Plate per trailer (both pups and full trailers). Cost calculator: Nbr Tractors times $500 + Nbr Trailers times $70.
  • Only pup drivers utilize the system with their own personal XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per pup driver , 2) TED I-Beam Plate per pup trailer. Cost calculator: Nbr Pup Drivers times $500 + Nbr Pup Trailers times $70.
  • Only pup drivers utilize the system with “tractor owned” XLT Drill Kits.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per tractor pulling pups, 2) TED I-Beam Plate per pup trailer. Cost calculator: Nbr tractors pulling pups times $500 + Nbr Pup Trailers times $70.
  • Only pup drivers utilize the system with “tractor owned” XLT Drill Kits with satellite sites  getting two units each.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per tractor pulling pups from distribution center, 2) Two drills kits per satellite site, 3) TED I-Beam Plate per pup trailer. Cost calculator: Nbr pup Tractors at distribution center times $500 + Nbr satellite sites times $1000 + Nbr Pup Trailers times $70.
  • Only shuttle drivers utilize the system with their own personal XLT Drill Kit. Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per shuttle driver , 2) TED I-Beam Plate per pup trailer used in shuttles. Cost calculator: Nbr Shuttle Drivers times $500 + Nbr Shuttle Pup Trailers times $70.
  • Only shuttle drivers utilize the system with “tractor owned” XLT Drill Kits. Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per shuttle tractor, 2) TED I-Beam Plate per pup trailer used in shuttles. Cost calculator: Nbr Shuttle Tractors times $500 + Nbr Shuttle Pup Trailers times $70.
