Let the XLT DRILL SYSTEM simplify your landing gear use.  The design of our system makes the product inexpensive, safe and quick to install.

Owner-Operator use typically needs no installation.  If you have multiple trailers and tractors you will be classified as a small fleet and have a choice of doing a fleet installation.  A fleet installation will consist of installing a TED plate on each trailer.  Below is examples of fleet installations followed by just owner-operator usage. Below are some of the more frequent designs with estimated costs.  Costs were based on $520 per drill kit and drill plate,  $530 per drill kit and stand alone drill plate, $460 per drill kit, $80 per trailer plate and $5 per latch pin. Fleet size and implementation period can potentially reduce the costs indicated above.

  • Fleet install – All drivers utilize the system with their own personal XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per driver , 2) TED I-Beam Plate per trailer. Cost calculator: Nbr Drivers times $520 + Nbr Trailers times $80. 
  • Fleet install – All drivers utilize the system with a “tractor owned” XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Drill Plate per tractor , 2) TED I-Beam Plate per trailer. Cost calculator: Nbr Tractors times $520 + Nbr Trailers times $80. 
  • Owner-operator or no fleet install desired using the Stand Alone Drill Plate.  All drivers utilize the system with their own personal XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Stand Alone Drill Plate per driver , 2) Handle removed and replaced with latch pin. Cost calculator: Nbr Drivers times $530 + Nbr of Trailers times $5.
  • Owner-operator or no fleet install desired using the Stand Alone Drill Plate.  All drivers utilize the system with a “tractor owned” XLT Drill Kit.  Product needed: 1) A Drill Kit and Stand Alone Drill Plate per tractor , 2) Handle removed and replaced with latch pin. Cost calculator: Nbr Tractors times $520 + Nbr of Trailers times $5.
